AutoCAD Draftsman

Aala Technology Ltd. seeks a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with 2 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Low Voltage (ELV) drafting, specifically for ELV and ICT system drawings. The candidate must have a strong command of AutoCAD software and a thorough understanding of drafting standards to prepare accurate, detailed, and compliant technical drawings. This role involves working closely with the design and engineering teams to translate project requirements into precise AutoCAD drafts while adhering to company and industry regulations. The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation of ELV and ICT system documentation, ensuring all drawings are correctly managed and updated using document management software. This position also requires leadership abilities to manage a team of three draftsmen, providing guidance, review, and coordination to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential to collaborate efficiently within the engineering department and with external stakeholders. The AutoCAD Draftsman will play a vital role in supporting ELV system design and documentation efforts, contributing to the overall success of projects at Aala Technology Ltd.
Responsibilities

Develop detailed and accurate ELV and ICT system drawings using AutoCAD software that comply with drafting standards and project specifications.
Coordinate and manage a team of three draftsmen by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring timely completion of drafting responsibilities.
Maintain and update technical documentation, including drawings and revisions, utilizing document management software to ensure version control and accessibility.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to gather requirements and clarify technical details for ELV and ICT system designs.
Prepare and modify electrical low voltage system layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams as per project needs and industry standards.
Review and verify drawings for correctness, completeness, and adherence to company and regulatory standards before submission and implementation.
Support the engineering team by providing drafting expertise for troubleshooting, design adjustments, and system enhancements.
Ensure compliance with company protocols, safety guidelines, and quality assurance procedures throughout the drafting process.
Conduct periodic audits and quality checks of drafting work to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
Maintain communication with stakeholders to resolve queries, incorporate feedback, and provide status updates on deliverables.
