Are you a highly skilled and professional accountant with a passion for finance management and accounting? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant to handle a range of financial responsibilities and daily accounting activities. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various accounting tasks and be well-versed in software-ledger posting, payroll processing, stock taking, taxation, and other related functions.
Responsibilities:
Ledger Posting on Software: Maintain accurate financial records by performing ledger posting and reconciling accounts using industry-standard accounting software. Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and organized.
Payroll Processing: Efficiently handle payroll processes, including salary computation, deductions, and taxes. Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries to employees while adhering to relevant legal regulations.
Stock Taking: Oversee inventory management and conduct regular stock taking to maintain accurate records of goods and assets. Monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and facilitate efficient inventory control.
Taxation: Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and laws to prepare and file accurate tax returns for the organization. Ensure compliance with tax authorities and optimize tax-related processes.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, generate reports, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to help the management make informed financial decisions.
Financial Audits: Coordinate and support external auditors during financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial statements.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications like CPA or ACCA will be an advantage.
- Proven experience as an accountant, showcasing expertise in ledger posting, payroll, taxation, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, etc.) for ledger posting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of taxation laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
