The kind of person we’re looking for:

ZUE is looking for Deputy Director of Software Development

We are looking for a person who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company’s technology team, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets.

As a Deputy Director Software Development, you will be the backbone for Software Development Process. You will lead Developers, Architects, Designers and other teams on different projects and technologies. You will ensure Business Objectives of ZUE PVT are met by delivering quality web-based applications which are regulatory compliant, secure and scalable cloud architecture.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of software engineers, Architects and other member to deliver and maintain high quality solutions that adhere to technical standards, provide direction to the software development teams on various capabilities.
Directs the work of a team responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of technical projects, operating with scale, speed, and quality.
Software Development, Managing Technical Team (Development, Operations, Planning) and Solutions Design
Provide managerial and technical leadership for every aspect of software development life cycle.
Engagement in Project reviews and Technical architectural decisions
Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.
Responsible for assisting in the establishment of Software Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology
Prepare lifecycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing along with delivery to product management.
Supervise architecture to develop a technical roadmap of all projects.
Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for the delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
Develop relations with existing and prospective internal customers to interpret all individual requirements.
Learn and display as how products/projects would add value to respective business.
Ensure top quality design reviews for attaining business goals.
Supervise resource allocation to assure attainment of apt business and personnel development goals.
Involve in strategic plans with leadership, team and customers to accomplish technical as well as business goals.
Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules plus supervise project status.
Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings.
Train, develop, manage and prepare best software development team. Ensure right person placement for right position.
Guide, coach and mentor software development engineers.
Prepare analytical reports for management review and decisions.

Qualification:

Exceptional leadership skills with 10+ years of experience in tech management
10+ years of professional software design experience leading software engineers in a product software delivery approach
Maters/bachelors of computer science.

Skills

Extremely high skilled to code hands-on in most of these technologies – Node JS, Python, .NET, Asp.Net, PHP, Angular, React Native, MVC, SQL, and Mongo DB
Building open and closed architecture solutions.
Well versed with the latest technologies and market trends.
Must have leadership, analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Should have a good understanding on Jira, MS project
Experience with Cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of Open Source testing tools and platforms
Experience developing and integrating with SAAS & API driven applications
Experience with AngularJS, Backbone, Ember, or other Javascript-based front-end frameworks
