We are looking for a professional with the following competencies:

Job Duties:

Bookkeeping of day-to-day transactions
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions.
Assist in the review and implementation of sales tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Monitor changes in sales tax laws and regulations in Pakistan and advise management on potential impact to the business.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve sales tax issues and inquiries from tax authorities.
Analyze sales data and transactions to identify potential sales tax issues and opportunities for process improvement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sales tax filings and compliance activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's (4 years) degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
3+ years of experience in sales tax accounting or related field, preferably in Pakistan.
Strong understanding of Pakistani sales tax laws and regulations.
Experience with sales tax software.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
