Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives.
    • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team.
  2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.
    • Present financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
  3. Risk Management:

    • Identify and manage financial risks, including currency fluctuations, interest rate changes, and market volatility.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  4. Treasury and Cash Management:

    • Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
    • Oversee investment activities and optimize the company's capital structure.
    • Develop relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  5. Internal Controls and Auditing:

    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and procedures.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Implement best practices in financial governance and control.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Foster collaboration between finance and other departments.
    • Ensure the finance team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CFA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
