Architect

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Karachi for an Architect at S. Zia-ul-Haq & Sons. The Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management, software development, integration, and overall architectural solutions for various projects within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and present design concepts that meet the client’s needs and budget.
Create detailed architectural drawings, models, and renderings using software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
Meet with clients to discuss their requirements, preferences, and budget.
Present design proposals and make revisions based on client feedback.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the project meets design specifications.
Monitor the construction process to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget.
Collaborate with engineers to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the design.
Ensure that the designs are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing.
Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
Participate in site visits and meetings with contractors and construction crews.
Ensure compliance with all HSE, HACCP, ISO 22000/9001/14000 & 45001 related guidelines related to the area of responsibility.

Skills:

Architecture and Architectural Design skills
Experience in Project Management
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Strong understanding of architectural technologies and practices
Creativity and strong visual awareness
Knowledge of sustainable design principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
