- Counsels the MS and PhD students on the matters of online registration/de-registration/course withdrawal, course prerequisites, CGPA, survival CGPA etc., according to the policy of SZABIST.
- Maintaining record of all MS/ PhD Thesis/ Dissertation students (updating their current stage of Research): To check the completion of GAT/ GRE, Comprehensive Examination, Coursework and Thesis/ Dissertation Credits.
- Collection of MS/ PhD Thesis Dissertation forms (Semester Fall/ Spring) in the second week as per Academic Calendar Plus collecting Interim Reports in the 15th week as per Academics Calendar for the End of Semester Evaluations/ Proposal Defense Department Wise.
- Conducting Proposal Defense/ End of Semester Evaluations/ Pre-Defense Seminar/ Final Thesis/ Dissertation Defenses Department Wise.
- Providing Remuneration to Principle Supervisors, Foreign/ Local External Examiners.
- Assistance to Sr. Controller for preparing Doctoral Committee Academic Agendas department wise.
- Sending local Thesis/ Dissertations for Evaluations and keeping the follow-ups (Department Wise).
- Assistance to Controller for making PhD Notification after Successfully Defending of Final Defense.
- Maintaining Data for HEC “Performa for PhD Country Directory” of PhD Students department wise.
- Other tasks assigned by the Academic Controller regarding Letters to be issued to Time barred students/ GAT not completed.
