Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, ensuring that all aspects are considered to provide comprehensive and competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other related expenses.
Project Analysis: Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Bid Preparation: Prepare bid proposals, including scope, pricing, and other relevant information, ensuring competitive and accurate submissions.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure accurate pricing for materials and services.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in the project scope and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure estimates align with project goals and objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, costs, and best practices to continuously improve estimation accuracy.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
