We are seeking a talented MEAN/MERN Stack Developer with 1-3 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team at Sterling Tech. This is an onsite position requiring 42 hours per week. If you’re passionate about building high-performance web applications and looking for an opportunity to grow, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications using the MEAN or MERN stack.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal application performance and user experience. Participate in code reviews, and offer constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends, frameworks, and libraries to ensure the use of modern tools and approaches.
- Work on database management and optimization, primarily using MongoDB.
- Manage project timelines effectively, and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in full-stack development using the MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) or MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and hosting services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Proficiency in Git version control and collaborative workflows.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and working in a team environment.
- Experience with containerization and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and offer effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
