Cashier - Shop

An established medium-sized footwear retailer is looking for a ‘Shop Cashier’ based out of their Karachi retail locations. The incumbent of this position is expected to help manage the cash counter at one of our store locations including generating of invoices, entry of shop expenses, stock receipts and dispatches into our retail management software. The incumbent is required to follow guidelines provided by the management from the head office and work under the supervision of the General Sales Manager (GSM). The incumbent is expected to be punctual, responsible and possess a long concentration-span to maximize accuracy.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications/characteristics:

Must be able to demonstrate high integrity with an enterprise-first mindset
Visible passion for data accuracy
Preference will be given to individuals who are familiar with the Candella Point-of-sale retail management software
The candidate is expected to appreciate the importance of giving satisfactory answers to all questions during internal audits conducted by the audit team covering the areas of cash management, expense entries, and inventory management
Must be comfortable operating a computer and barcode scanners
Strong appreciation of the need to extract maximum cooperation from stakeholders, many of whom possess limited levels of literacy is essential
Must be a team player who is punctual
Good references and own a bike are essential for this position
