- The Vice President will be reporting directly to the CEO. This position will be responsible for strategic planning, implementation and day-to-day execution of all solar installation and operational tasks.
- The responsibilities for this position include:
- Abiding by corporate strategy, company policies and operations
- Managing all of the solar installation activities which include logistics, quality of suppliers, direct and indirect materials handling, product lead time
- Total quality management leading to product innovation and development which is also cost effective and market competitive
- Negotiating with vendors regarding timely delivery, quality material, spare parts, parts claim, amount settlement matters and cost-effectiveness.
- Must continuously search for alternatives benefiting cost reduction
- Exceeding customer expectations through ensuring prompt, effective and quality installation services while simultaneously creating a unique customer experience
- The requirements for this position are:
- 10+ years’ experience in operations
- Solar Operations experience is a MUST
- Experience in multiple supply chain processes and technologies such as ERP, JIT, Lean and Six Sigma
- Professional Certifications in Operations, Purchasing or Logistics a plus
- Strong purchasing, negotiation, planning & materials knowledge. Ability to drive projects to a successful completion.
