Construction Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial estimates to the final figures. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review cost estimates for construction projects.
Monitor project costs and prepare financial reports.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for new projects.
Oversee and manage tendering processes and contracts.
Ensure that all projects adhere to budget constraints and specifications.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to provide cost-effective solutions.
Measure and value the work done on-site.
Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed final accounts and submit regular progress reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum [3] years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and costs.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and financial analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
