- Set up and operate VTL machines according to specifications and instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and attachments
- Adjust machine controls and monitor performance
- Inspect and measure finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve any problems or issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
May also include the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a VTL machinist or similar role
- Knowledge of VTL machine operation and maintenance
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and instructions
- Skill in using precision measuring instruments and tools
- Attention to detail and quality
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
