Video Editor

SIF is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team as a Communication Assistant at our Islamabad office. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing videos, producing documentaries, shorts, ads, and assisting in various media-related tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent video editing skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

General Objectives:

Edit videos, documentaries, shorts, and ads for various projects and campaigns
Assist in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and concept development
Collaborate with the communication team to develop media content
Ensure high-quality video production, meeting deadlines and specifications
Manage video archives, maintain organized files, and update databases
Assist in media-related tasks, such as photography and graphic design
Work as a cameraman whenever required
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent storytelling, visual, and audio skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
Ability to work under pressure, fast meeting deadlines
Fluency in English and Urdu (written and spoken)
Experience in documentary filmmaking or media development
Knowledge of graphic design and animation
Knowledge and hands-on experience of software tools: Adobe Premiere Pro - After Effects – Photoshop - Illustrator
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation

Working Hours and Salary:

This is a full-time position with 40 working hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Salary will be paid according to the SIF salary grid.
