We are seeking a professional and personable Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team.
- Coordinating the shipping and transportation of goods and materials.
- Negotiating rates and contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
- Planning and scheduling shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
- Tracking shipments and ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Preparing and managing logistics documentation.
- Communicating with customers and vendors to ensure that all logistics needs are met.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the logistics function.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as sales and production, to ensure that logistics activities support the overall goals of the organization.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in logistics technology and processes.
