Pragmatic Solar is seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Field Technician to join our team. This full-time, field-based role involves assisting in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar panel systems at various locations. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in performing installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panel systems, including wiring, mounting, and configuration.
Conduct site assessments and surveys to ensure optimal conditions for installation.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to solar energy systems.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Keep detailed records of installations and service calls.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

Previous experience in solar panel installation or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work in various weather conditions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Diploma DAE) are preferred.
