• Preparation and submission of monthly environmental reports , CESMP and other documents related to project site to consultant and PIU; 
• Enhancing the capacity of staff through regular training;
• Ensuring result orienting efforts for all contractor staff including workers or labours of embankment works to bring out environmental health and safety and social project results; 
• Conduct EHS training sessions for contractor’s own staff; 
• Providing awareness to develop the best EHS practices; 
• Regular watch at camp office and site and other embankment works in respect of environmental, health and safety aspects; 
• Providing guidelines to management and staff regarding day-to-day environmental issues.
• Ensuring that the workers camp and construction areas are open only to formal employees.
• Reviewing and reporting any hazard during the construction of project activities.
• Conducting sessions to build the capacity of project staff regarding techniques to manage hazardous waste, Tool Box Talks, safety training and participating in other environmental and social capacity-building sessions during the construction of project activities.
• Conducting and Managing 3rd party Environmental Monitoring of the project sites.
• Maintaining records for manpower, inspections, incidents, accidents and near misses.
• Preparing reports on capacity building and contributing to Contractor’s Monthly Progress report 
• Managing safety signage and barricades where necessary.
• Providing a key role through regular correspondence between consultant and client.
