Program Manager-Quality Control

Checks the quality of items with the support of purchase order and GRN
Verifies the quantity of goods
Verifies that the items fulfill the requirements of purchase order/HANDS requirement. In case of any difference in item the QC informs the Warehouse personnel.
Select a sample size for inspection depending on the size of the lot.
Coordinate with other persons/technicians of relevant programs for the inspection of items which involves technicality such as electronic equipment etc.
Some items may need laboratory testing which may be sent to laboratory through QC.
After inspection, the items are approved or rejected as per the inspection results a report of approval or rejection is prepared for record.
The inspection report is prepared and shared with concerned program and CE and issue are discussed at relevant forum for further decision, which finally becomes part of procurement document.
