I am affiliated with the social and development sector since last 18 years. I have master’s degrees in public health and Economics along with NVQ in social care. Having worked with the renowned and prestigious organizations in Pakistan, I have accumulated a rich experience of the social and development sector with various dimensions. I have been involved in various donor funded, Health (RH/FP and PAC), IMNCH, WASH, Agriculture, Humanitarian, Education, TB, Malaria and HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs during past years and has learnt various aspects of program planning, management and monitoring and accountability at all levels. I have managed multiple grants up to 20million dollars working with donors like UN, USAID, UKAID, AusAid, EU, PSDF and GFATM. During my career I am also having some experience of working outside Pakistan (England, Nepal, Liberia, and Tanzania) to empower disadvantaged rural communities. I have undergone various program activities that dealt with program planning like, Development of community mobilization strategies, advocacy campaigns, operational research, and development of communication programs. I have managed multidisciplinary teams up to 40 staff members that included HR, Admin, Finance, Program implementation and knowledge management professionals. I have also developed various training manuals and booklets for various cadres of MNCH professional staff, paramedic and LHWs/CHWs at national and international organization. I have designed a comprehensive training program for LHWs in Punjab and provided leadership of LHWs/CHWs in Sindh, Punjab and KPK provinces.    


I started my career from small/gross root level organization (NGO) in Pakistan working for elimination of child labour and occupational safety in surgical industries in Pakistan. During work with ASEER FOUNDAION, being project manager, I was responsible for project planning and implementation of SBCC activities for prevention of HIV/AIDS/STIs in the different districts of Pakistan. I was involved in different project interventions like coordination with donors, recruitment, budgeting, and capacity building of project staff. I have sensitized almost 200 peer educators with support from outreach workers to reduce HIV/AID stigma and vulnerabilities. I had also conducted various advocacy meetings and training of stakeholders, community, Local Govt. Political Leaders, Religious Leaders, NGOs, and media people.



I have spent long span of my career with RSPs (Rural Support Programmes) a multi-sectoral rural/community development program and got an opportunity to receive multi-dimensional experience of sustainable community development by launching disaster relief and rehabilitation programs of NRSP (National Rural Support Programme) and then RSPN (Rural Support Programmes Network) being part of the multi-sectoral teams. During my stay with RSPs, I have managed multiple grants of USAID- PAIMAN project (2million$), Deliver Supply Chain Management, GFATM malaria nets program (1.5million$), USAID- Pride project (5million$), USAID- FALAH (20million$) and some other grants of UKAID, AusAid and UNICEF funded grants (WASH, CLTS, Capacity building) up to 10million $ during project life.



Further, I have been a part of a large team working on designing & launching community mobilization & awareness campaigns, SBCC strategy design, planning & development of training modules (like life skills, basic health, effective communication, conflict resolution, Interpersonal Communication/counseling for MNCH Programs, and behavior change communication/interventions) for USAID-Health Communication Project. Working as Program Lead SBCC and outreach with USAID-PATTA; (12million$) and supervising different social and behavior change interventions with private sector. I am involved in designing & conducting communication modules for stakeholders & target groups, development of master plans for ignored & deprived communities, and conducting field surveys/audience analysis. I have hands-on expertise of conducting social media/ digital media awareness campaigns for promoting behavior change messages among 200,000 farmers across Pakistan around various agriculture technologies during COVID-19 in last year 2020-21.
