Currently (Since March 2022) working as Program Advisor with IPAS Pakistan, under Post Medical Abortion Contraception (PMAC) Program to provide coordination and support for Pakistan program partner. PMAC is a BMGF funded program and implemented by IPAS in 03 countries i.e., India, Keneya and Pakistan. In Pakistan IPAS is implementing this PMAC project with support from its partner organization DKT, PSI and population council. The main objective of this program is to develop scalable, evidence-based solutions that result in increased uptake and improved use of contraception after self-use of MA among women and adolescent girls. 

I worked as Director program development, Networks, and resource mobilization with Center for Communication Program (CCP), Pakistan affiliated with John Hopkins University-USA. In this role I was involved in identification of potential donors and program opportunities. I developed multiple proposal and ideas to get new funding for center and involved in various resource mobilization activities. I was successful to speed up initiating new partnerships with GIZ, SMEA, British Counsel etc. and track funds from Punjab government, planning section for short term programs.

Worked as Program Advisor (SBCC) with USIAD-PATTA project during May 2018 to April 2021. PATTA’s partnership with Supply and Demand Side Partners will provide small farmers broader access to affordable agriculture technologies to increase productivity and competitiveness and reduce post-harvest losses. I have key role in designing of SBCC campaigns and full fil the gap between demand and supply side partner for technology adoption options.

Worked as SBCC Specialist/Manger Networks with Center for Communication Program, affiliated with John Hopkins University-USA, In this role I was supervising different social and behavior change interventions with religious leaders and journalists under different donor funded initiatives like USAID,s MCH program and DFID funded EVA-BHN project in various part of Sindh, Punjab and KPK provinces.

Currently working as Team Leader/Courntry Head of Programs with BRAC Pakistan and supervise all projects in the domain. BRAC Pakistan has joined hand with Pakistan Skill Development Fund (PSDF) for “CM’s Initiative for Skills Enhancement of Lady Health Workers” in all 36 districts of Punjab province. I am also responsible for implementation of this training component and development of training curricula at different levels.

Mercy Corps’ interventions under Health Communication component of USAID’s MCH
Program is specifically focus on district level Communication, coordination, and IPC and community mobilization.
These mobilization activities are implemented in selected 10 program districts of Sindh province. I was working as National IPC Coordinator/Manager Monitoring and responsible for planning and quality assurance activities in LHWs Program areas in close coordination with LHWs program and Govt. of Sindh.

UNICEF Sanitation program at scale in Pakistan is implanting PATS approach across
Pakistan with its partners; RSPN is responsible to develop the capacity of different cadre of UNCIEF’s IPs project
Staff, CRPs, Mason and rural entrepreneurs. I worked as Project manager in this component and responsible for:

• With project national team review existing training manuals and will develop the revise training manual in consultation with UNICEF’s WASH team.
• Oversee the implementation of the training events as per plan in the project districts. Coordinate with UNICEF’s provincial offices and country officer to plan training events in consultation with IPs.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance team in development of tool (s) for all relevant cadres to evaluate the quality of trainings/trainers as per agreed protocols for use PRA tools on PATS.
• Ensure that the provincial teams have access to all the necessary physical resources and inputs e.g. conducive working space and equipment, transportation, administrative support and authority to use those resources;
• Ensure all requirement in the PCA joint proposal in connection with schedule and budget;
• Ensure that all the Master Trainers attends the TOT on PATS imparted by RSPN and UNICEF jointly, and these trainers must possess skill to use of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials;
• Regular on job capacity building of IPs project staff for quality assurance and to enabling them for effective implementation of the project ;

It is a programme to empower disadvantaged African and Caribbean women (in particular
but not exclusively) to participate actively in their local community and local economy. My responsibilities were:

• Day-to-day management of the program team and ensure that project staff has full compliance and regulation during their work.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of service users, implementing improvements and modifications; preparing various reports on operations and activities;
• Contribute to effective communication with service users, their relatives, friends, professional helpers and other members of staff, ensuring the continuity of quality and safety in the provision of services.

Worked with RSPN; in its social sector services domain and involved in several project like FALAH, CLTS, KOMAK and MHCHI. My responsibilities were;

• Participate in the planning of the project activities and ensure the effective implementation social mobilization activities as per the agreed work plan in project districts.
• Provide strategic direction and supervision for social sector team to undertake the community mobilization activities and ensure the required level of support for project team.
• Conduct advocacy meetings with religious leaders, elected representatives and community notables on importance of birth spacing to gauge their support for promotion of birth spacing as health intervention.
• Conduct monitoring visit to ensure that implementation of activities is in accordance with planning and to provide guidance for project staff for improvement.
• Ensure that project staff has full compliance and regulation during their work.
• Have good working relationship with lead partner and other consortium partners at district level to keep the district coordinator smooth and productive.
• Participate in all coordination meeting convened by lead partner and share the monthly progress
• Participate in the meetings /trainings /events of district /province/national level as required.
• Submit monthly and quarterly progress report of the project to National Coordinator.

Being Team Leader, I was responsible for overall management of social sector of NRSP which includes identification of different health related projects for NRSP, drawing up the expression of interest, proposals, liaison development, implementation, hiring, procurement, monitoring and reporting. Other responsibilities were;

• Coordinate with the donors and other stakeholders at national and provincial level
• Coordinate with the NRSP Regions and District of the core program to determine progam operations
• Support the health program team in planning and implementations.
• Facilitate the training program and build on the job capacity through periodic coaching

FHI and financial support of USAID implemented project on HIV/AIDS/STI Prevention through BCC interventions among long route trucker and associated population at truck adda Lahore. Being Project Coordinator my responsibilities were;

ASEER Foundation in collaboration with FHI and financial support of USAID implemented project on HIV/AIDS/STI Prevention through BCC interventions among street based youth and adolescent in Multan. Being Project Coordinator my responsibilities were;

Baidarie implemented pilot project titled “Girls Child Rights Protection Programme” covering an educational program to catering the needs of females in the age group 10-14 in five government Middle and High schools of Sialkot district. The project was mainly funded by DFID (British High Commission) Islamabad. As Project Coordinator my responsibilities were;

• Preparation of master plans for the implementation of the project activities.
• Development of necessary charts and formats.
• Conduction of survey in all villages included in the project area.
• Arrangement for the development of special syllabus to be taught in schools.
• To develop networking with government line departments and private training providers.

I worked in a project titled combating the Hazardous and Exploitative Child Labour in Surgical Instrument Manufacturing through Prevention, withdrawal and Rehabilitation. This project was funded by International Labour Organization (ILO-IPEC) in Sialkot district. I was involved in following activities.
