Techanical and commercial loss reduction.

in January -13, K_ELECTRIC assigned me the target of technical and commercial loss reduction of Saddar Zone Karachi area improvement in customer satisfaction through better service and resolution of their issues. There were huge issues which required to be resolved to cope with pilferage of electricity matter , unbalance of system voltage and technical complaints as well as billing complaints , communication gap B/W company and consumers and area notable/representative . I had assigned total 110,000 valued customers of Saddar Zone including Residential, commercial and industrial and public sector connections . I had looking after all technical and commercial matters of Star CM House Governor house ,Army connections , Jinnah Hospital, Seven day Hospital, Burhani Hospital , Bank Head offices, Media houses , Assembly and sectorate area, Five Star Hotels and Big Markets also some Katchi Abadies. Initially the ATC losses were 15 % and a large number of different complaints therefore walk-in consumers visiting in thousands per months. However in order to control these issues I had gathered and compiled Data base of all consumers to communicate with them through advanced technology to update them with each developments and resolve their issues with in turn around Time. Started replacement of old Electro mechanical meters into Satiric, installation of Bus-bar system in Multistory buildings, provided new connections through easy way, Segregation of High and low loss Transformers and circuits ,Conversion of Bare LT Circuits into Insulated ABC conductus, installation of AMR meters on big connections. installation of New transformers and feeders. Through this project , at the end of Dec-17 losses reduced to single digit ( 10 % ). and reduced technical and billing complaints. Improved SAIFI and SAIDI.
