I am a focal point for all Agriculture related activities at Operation Support Unit (OSU-FATA) of the P&D Department FATA Secretariat, working under Multi Donor Trust Fund (MDTF)/World Bank
Responsibilities:
• Assist and advice the OSU Coordinator in the design of Annual Work Plan within the structure of Results Framework (RF) of GPP and its relevant strategic objective(s) in consultation with the stakeholders;
• Ensuring timely implementation of annual work plan under relevant strategic objective(s)
• In collaboration with other OSU & GSU specialist help in devising mechanism to strengthen and institutionalize systematic performance monitoring, citizen facilitation and engagement in improving public services, private sector participation in service delivery, and effective grievance redress with a focus on agricultural services (including extension, irrigation and veterinary services).
• Coordinate actions agreed to improve the management of the Annual Development Plan (ADP) and quality of information on public investment in the agriculture, irrigation, and livestock sectors.
• Perform assessment of current government capacity with reference to the World Bank framework for public investment management and development of a PIM action plan targeting the main issues identified.
• Prepare actionable plans to help the Government strengthen accountability and expand access to services in the agriculture (including irrigation) and livestock sector.
• Designing, preparing and sequencing Agriculture projects on the identified result framework.
• Conducting trainings, awareness programs and develop guidelines where required, with particular emphasis on Agriculture sector with crisis-sensitivity.
• Ensuring coordination and cooperation between the various stakeholders, at the Provincial and Federal Level.

I am part of a core team at the Implementation Support Unit (ISU-FATA) of the Post Crisis Need Assessment (PCNA) working under Multi Donor Trust Fund. Some of the major activities have been:
Key Achievements:
• Mapped Investment of the Government through ADP Schemes and Donors funding in Green Sector (Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation and Fisheries & Forestry) in line with strategic Objectives of the PCNA.
• As a focal person of the GIS Project, developed Planning and Monitoring Tool (PMT) for Directorate of M & E FATA and mapped all ADP schemes of Livestock, Irrigation, Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Emergency Rural Road Project (ERRP) in Bajaur Agency with collaboration of Geography Department, University of Peshawar.
• To improve services delivery of the green sector through citizen monitoring, an android based system (FATA Monitor) was developed with collaboration with M&E Directorate FATA.
• One of the authors of FATA Agriculture Policy being a member of the committee constituted by Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for formulation of Agriculture Policy.
• Provided substantive and technical support in the formulation of sectoral strategies for FATA Green sector (Directorate of Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, and Fisheries & Forestry).
• As a Secretary of Green sector Technical Working Group (TWG) FATA organized and facilitated working group meetings and developed concept notes/proposals for donor funding.
• Designed Value chain projects for the Line Directorates FATA (Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, and Forestry & Fisheries) under ADP schemes.
• Provided assistance and guideline to the Line Directorates FATA (Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, and Forestry & Fisheries) in designing and preparing projects on the identified result framework.
• Has been part of the organizing team of the First ever Pre Development Budget consultations in FATA for ADP schemes to improve the management of the ADP and quality of information on public investment.

As a Team Leader Livelihood, managed all Livelihood Projects related to on farm & off farm economic development of the people affected by flood in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

As a District Project Manager, improved the availability of and access to agricultural services and inputs to increase agricultural production in District Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; aiding to the greater goal of addressing the negative impact of rising food prices on food insecurity and vulnerable households in Pakistan.

• Planning & Monitoring of Agriculture inputs distribution (Seeds & Fertilizers and wheat grains) among 6500 Farmers.
• Formation of community organization and water user association in intervention union councils.
• Formation & registration of Machinery Pools Groups with industrial departments and distribution of Agriculture machineries (Tractors, seed drills & Threshers) in MPGs.
• Close coordination with Department of water management for lining of 8 water channels (Each of approximately 2000 meters) and for construction of 4 water harvesting structures in project areas.

As an Agriculture Coordinator, supervised, managed and monitored the restoration of Agriculture & Restocking of livestock activities under earthquake rehabilitation project in District Bagh, Azad Jammu Kashmir; to improve the livelihood and enterprise development in the area.

As NRM Coordinator, supervised and monitored the establishment of fruits & forest plant nurseries, Dry Land Afforestations (DLAs), sites identification for water harvesting structures, organized enterprise development trainings; contributing to improve the economic status of small farmers in interventions area.
