Currently I am working as senior executive officer R &D at SGS Pakistan ,being R & D officer I have developed many assay in my lab regarding PCR and ELISA such as SSR primer based database designing for basmati rice authentication, promoter and terminator sequence based detection of GMO in food and agriculture commodities, specie specific gene base adulteration detection like pig, horse , donkey and birds in food products, PCR assay development for bacteria such listeria monocytogen, e coli and gram negative bacteria, birds gender identification based on sex chromosome differences through PCR and development of Elisa based detection of different bacteria such as listeria monocytogenes and E coli O157:H7 ,mycotoxin detection assay in all food and feed commodities.
Beside above I also look into the quality assurance matter in my lab and conducting audits for different standards like ISO 9000 and ISO 17025.i have completed different certificate courses about iso-17025 and root couse analysis.
Before joining SGS I have worked in different pathological lab in different hospital like molecular biology and microbiology. I have hand on experience on different molecular biology and immunology techniques and equipments.
During working at Indus hospital perform different research projects on infectious diseases, one of my research study published at infectious disease journal of Pakistan and different projects was presented in seminars and workshops regarding my study on infectious diseases.

• Water testing of Potable, Non-Potable and Waste water for Total Coli forms, Fecal Coli forms ,Heterotrophic Plate Count, Mold & yeast and others by Standard APHA methods.
• Handling some aspects of QA systems like SOP making, maintaining record of inventory, testing methods development and delivering presentation about new developments, Checklists and internal audits.
• Maintain all the documentation relevant to Molecular biology, Microbiology lab and audits.
• Decision & execution of preventive plus corrective measures of all problems & Risk assessment for health and safety.
• Conduct area monitoring at different packaging, food processing companies and slaughterhouses.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• Developed Molecular biology lab for the DNA based detection and quantification of Basmati Rice varieties, GMO and Halal testing.
• Took part in proficiency testing (P.T) of molecular biology and microbiology
• Upgraded the molecular biology and microbiology lab from scratch to ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation.
• Development of detection method for listeria monocytogenes and E coli O157:H7 in food.
