Project Coordinator
Research Associate: Capacity-building and Training
Lead ADB institute projects and policy research on human security, social protection, inclusive and sustainable development in East and South Asian countries. Achievements include:
- Planning and organizing 11 international capacity-building trainings and conferences for government officials in 8 East and South Asian countries, in collaboration with AusAid, GIZ, OECD, WHO and the World Bank.
- Coordinating with senior executives from the Ministry of Finance and Economy in member countries to lead institutional collaboration on ADB projects.
- Using the MEAL framework to evaluate and track performance of our alumni and incorporate their suggestions to improve our future trainings.
- Drafting and presenting quarterly and annual performance evaluation reports of our projects to the Dean of the ADB Institute.
- Writing five policy papers related to human security, public infrastructure financing, renewable energy and sustainable development.
Peace and Development Fellow- Youth Deradicalization Project
Conducted primary research into the causes of radicalisation among youth in Sindh (Pakistan). Achievements Include:
- Conducting interviews, focus-group discussions and surveys to collect data from 300 Civil society activists to record their views on the topic.
- Interviewing prominent religious leaders and journalists to understand their views about the issue.
- Compiling a 7000-word final report for the Ministry based on the primary data collected during research.
Director- Outreach and Communications
Created and managed website content and led outreach for the Harvard University-based organization that provides free admissions-advice to less privileged Pakistanis aspiring to study abroad. Achievements include:
- Recruiting 50 volunteers from Australia, Ireland, Japan, UK, USA, and other countries to solicit their admissions-related advice.
- Matching the recruited volunteers with 200 Students in Karachi and Lahore who needed admissions-related counseling.
