• Raw Material Handling:
Manage the receipt, storage, and handling of raw materials required for formaldehyde production,
typically methanol.
• Reactors and Reaction Control:
Operate and monitor the reaction vessels where formaldehyde is synthesized from methanol.
Control reaction conditions such as temperature, pressure, and catalyst levels to optimize
formaldehyde yield.
• Distillation and Purification:
Oversee the distillation process to separate formaldehyde from reaction by-products.
Ensure the purification of formaldehyde to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Utilities Management:
Monitor and control utilities such as steam, cooling water, and electricity to support the various
stages of formaldehyde production.
• Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure the produced formaldehyde meets required
specifications.
Conduct regular sampling and testing of formaldehyde to verify product quality.
• Equipment Maintenance:
Schedule and supervise routine maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure the
reliability of the production process.
