Currently a resident in General Surgery. This position involves me to attend surgical emergency and trauma patients in both outdoor and indoor setting. Working closely under direct supervision of consultants to treat surgical conditions, pre-operatively patients assessment and optimization for surgery, intra-operatively assisting consultants, post-operatively taking care of patients to minimize any complications due to surgery and scheduling follow-up visits. Performed variety of General Surgical procedures including excision of unwanted growth, defects, foreign-body removal, chest intubation, Incision & Drainage, Debridement and dressing of wounds, skin stitches, close reduction of fractures, Appendectomy, Exploratory Laparotomy, Cholecystectomy and Thoracotomy.
