As the WASH and Shelter Adviser, my role involves leading sectoral assessments, designing comprehensive programmes, and creating master budgets to address water, sanitation, hygiene, shelter, and construction needs in humanitarian contexts. I coordinate with Save the Children’s thematic areas and external agencies to document assessment findings, focusing on children's needs. Working closely with the MEAL team, DCD OPs, and other sector leads, I develop integrated response plans and contribute to the overall strategy. Assessments and need based verification of new and rehab work in emergency WASH Sindh, PATS Punjab and KPK Involvement of SMC, MHM, School WASH Club, Village Organization, Community Organization during need assessment and in monitoring of construction work by explaining scope of work to SMC and community members for WASH infrastructure specially in design and construction of HH latrines that are appropriate for targeted communities and are low cost.
