The company is listed at “Pakistan stock exchange (PSX)” deals primarily in spinning and weaving. Reporting to manager and sr. manager I started working as “CA Articles Trainee” in different departments including accounts receivable, cash management & general ledger department and then as Deputy Manager Accounts in general ledger department.
Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual & annual financial statements for management & statutory review and audit.
• Reviewing monthly system generated financials (Oracle FSG).
• Liaison with external audit team during annual statutory audit and semi-annually reviews.
• Verifying and validating all JVs in the system (Oracle R12).
• Inter-Unit Reconciliation: reconciling with transaction within different units of the company.
• Account Receivable Reconciliation: extracting the customers’ ledgers from (Oracle R12) and reconciling with customers’ provided ledgers.
• Reviewing and validating all the funds (Bank) transfer vouchers in the system (Oracle R12).
• Bank Reconciliation: Uploading the bank statement in the system (Oracle R12) and reconciling in cash management module.
The company is registered with Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and member of Geneva Group International (GGI) having offices at all major cities of Pakistan, providing audit & assurance, taxation and consultancy services.

• Identifying key risk areas within the client organization and made suggestions to assist client in managing those risks.
• Filing of income tax returns of individuals, AOPs and companies.
• Participated in special projects and detailed analysis of client operations.
• Participated in accounting, internal audit and other agreed services.
• Liaison at various levels of clients’ management to maintain and manage cooperative relationships.
