Maintain Liaison with all the government officials especially with MOI, EAD, NDMA, PDMA, CDA, District Administrations, LEAs etc.
Advice Organization on its relationship with the local authorities to facilitate a positive cooperative relationship.
Advise program teams on specific regulations implemented by the authorities that impact the ability to implement activities and/or impact the speed of implementation.
Submit and follow up on any pending permissions/authorizations to conduct activities across the district as per the needs of program teams and ensure presentations on completed activities are provided in a timely manner when required.
Support program teams as in their communications with district government departments and/or in the collection of the government data for program planning purposes.
Preparation/Updation of procedures directory- Visas, registrations, NOCs, SOPs etc.
Processing of project, program, travel and event NOCs.
Trainings of Field Liaison Officers.
Conduct and update Security Assessments of field areas, organization premises.
Train and guide security guards in performing their duties, deployed at organization premises (offices, warehouse, staff house etc).
Update Emergency Contact Details and Emergency Contact Tree/First Responders on a regular basis.
Responsible for overall security matters for Pakistan Reading Project operation.
Responsible for maintaining government relations, liaison and act as focal point for legal services to facilitate overall program goals and objectives.
Act as an integral member of the PRP Pakistan Country Crisis Management Team.
Design and deliver security management training to all field office senior staff, security focal points.
Design and deliver security awareness training strategy for all staff, and supervise the implementation.
Conduct investigations into security incidents that impact on PRP Pakistan Program.
Supervise and support Security team in all security issues.
Undertake regular site assessments of PRP physical properties and project areas, report on findings and design necessary improvements in line with Cooperative Agreement.
Keep up-to date with the principles of protection and the PRP Way and policy and procedures agreed in the Cooperative Agreement.
Orient all new staff on security plans and precautionary measures.
Review security plans and policies following the Cooperative Agreement.
Maintain an updated list and contacts with focal points across the programs.
Undertake ongoing threat assessments using the security triangle as a basis of analysis.
Liaise with other agency security focal points, including NGOs, UN and local authorities(FBR, EAD, MOI, DPO/DC, Home & triable affairs department, NDMA/PDMA & LEAs) concerned for security related issues and update Chief of Party.
Develop monthly security update and progress reports for submission and consumption of Chief of Party and Regional security office.
Make concrete recommendations for revising PRP policies and procedures to further enhance security following cooperative agreement.
Maintain confidentiality, impartiality and neutrality in all aspects of security arrangements.
Prepare Monthly and Regular security reports with analysis and advice.
Administrative Tasks:
Resource person for the Director HRM/Admin on the functional matters related to the administration i.e. inventory management, logistics, transport, security and maintenance of the office.
Developed, supervises and monitor the mechanism of inventory control management and the mobility of all the fixed assets of FBR (HQ).
Ensure that the logistics and transport are appropriately managed and SOPs are in place and implemented.
Draft financial budget for the expenditure to be incurred by the administration department on periodic basis.
Controlled and monitored policy matters of FBR (HQ), Islamabad.
Supervised work of Assistant Directors, Superintended of customs and Inland Revenue Islamabad.
Liaison with Stake-holder:
Liaison with government stake holders (NADRA, SECP, IESCO, PTCL, NAB, BOI, EXCISE and other departments) for Data collection. Conduct monthly meetings with NADRA and SECP for smooth development & implementation of e-FBR system.
Database Administration and Management:
Installation configuration, maintenance and administration of Databases in Oracle and SQL Server. Upgrade operations on Databases with complete data transportation.
MIS Reporting:
Generation & Presentation of MIS Reports for National Assembly, Supreme Court & FIA queries, Federal Board of Revenue over Income Tax, Sales Tax Returns, Tax collections, e-payments, Withholding Taxpayers and Customs Collection Data using SQL scripts and PL/SQL, used for Decision Making.
Analysis, correction and transformation of Income Tax and Sales Tax Taxpayers Data collected from Master Source using Dynamic SQL and PL/SQL and sending patches to National Bank of Pakistan, State Bank of Pakistan and other stake holders on weekly basis.
Preparation of various analytical reports for FBR/Ministry of Finance/Supreme Court & Parliamentarian such as:
Prepared various reports & statistics for the World Bank Analysis & Budget preparation.
Make Analysis for the RGST and AUDIT wing.
Provide different Types of Analysis for STARR Project.
After Analysis and Data Cleansing, creation of different types of Reports regarding Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, Challan, CAP and e-Payment.
Coordination with field offices regarding technical / Non-Technical matters.
Official Meetings with higher management regarding business objectives, Tax base broadening.
Prepared different analysis / report for DOS wing in close liaison with Chief (DOS) to recover the revenue from the Withholding Agents as Directed by the concerned.
