Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Supervision of routine work of finance department.
• Verification of payment vouchers and ensuring proper deduction of withholding taxes.
• Verification of employees’ payroll and verifying tax calculations as per relevant law.
• Verification of Sales Tax working and calculations and ensuring that tax is deposited within the relevant time frame.
• To coordinates with External Auditors to facilitate their review of financial statements/ documents and discusses comments (if any) to ensure soundness.
• Ensuring that weekly / monthly reports are submitted to head office within the relevant time frame.
• Preparation of cash flow forecast and comparing it with actual cash flows.
• Advises the GM and executive committee on existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
• To ensure that all legal, contractual and licensing documents comply with the legal requirements of the country.
• To implement credit control and collection/receivables management, credit files(deals) review and recommend for approval, management of credit controllers and debt collectors, effective credit risk management and compliance with credit policies and procedures, collection Management and Receivables accounting & reporting.
• Preparation of the annual accounts as per the laws applicable to non-listed companies and also preparation of monthly management accounts for the review of the Board of Directors.
• Liaison with banks and handling all banking matters like obtaining short & long term finances including leasing.
• Record whole project account in the accounting system. Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders. Authorize the transfer of expenses into and out of project-related accounts.
• Record the landed cost sheet for imports.
• Review and approve supplier invoices related to a project.
• Review and approve time sheets for work related to a project.

• Ensure proper recording of transactions in QuickBooks.
• Ensure proper costing of all manufactured items and proper recording of all financial transactions
• Managing Cash Flows and Treasury.
• Negotiation with Banks, vendors and other institutions on principle issues.
• Supervising monthly Sales Tax and other Tax matters.
• Monthly closing, accounts reconciliation and adjustments and Financial Reporting to Management.
• Overall responsibility for the whole accounts department including reviewing the GL function, posting function, internal controls and trial balance generation through ORACLE.
