My responsibilities encompassed diligent oversight of the quality, quantity, and progress of various construction activities, specifically pertaining to structures and earthwork on the Chakdara – Landakai (Package – I), spanning a length of 12 kilometers. This entailed closely monitoring and ensuring the meticulous execution of tasks such as subgrade preparation, sub-base, aggregate base course, asphaltic base course and asphaltic wearing course application. Additionally, I supervised the construction of concrete and stone masonry elements, meticulously inspecting the reinforcement in slab culverts, and overseeing the construction of retaining walls.
The duty included the pavement designing, estimation of earthwork, preparation of drawings and BOQ’s, of various road projects including structures under the supervision of senior engineer. Site visit were also carried out for project implementation through contractor.
