In the capacities of Project Support Manager, Project Control Manager and Senior Commercial Manager carried out the following functions for Borouge 2 and 3 Projects:
• Reporting to Senior Vice President, headed a team of Specialists for project control (planning & scheduling), cost control, contracts and procurement. The assignments included long term placement in EPC Contractors Home Offices in Europe and South Korea during Project Detailed Engineering phases.

• Work responsibilities included:

– Responsible for over viewing the administration of the EPC Contracts, Procurement, Project Scheduling and Planning as well as Cost Control Function within the EPC Package.
– Project management support to all Senior Project Managers for individual EPC packages in the commercial and contractual areas
– Contract administration of all major EPC contracts and miscellaneous other contracts e.g. License Technology, Consultancy, Audit, etc.
– Development of overall integrated schedule for project interfaces and monitoring and control of the same
– Financial reporting, budget and cost control
– Monitoring of project schedule of individual project EPC packages
– Project Progress reporting, overall and for each EPC packages
– Review, negotiations and development of Contract Variation Orders
– Handling of Contractor’s claims
– EPC Contractors performance evaluation
– Monitoring of key sub-contractors project progress
– Development of project related recommendation for Company Owners approval
– Monitoring of procurement of 2 year operational spare parts procurement
– Vendors and sub-contractors evaluation proposed by EPC Contractors
– Interpretation of Contract clauses
– Development of project procedures
– Monitoring and execution of contract/project close-out activities
– Assistance in issuance of Mechanical Completion, Start-up, Provisional and Final Acceptance Certificates to Contractors.
