A thorough HSE Officer who is certified by Nebosh. Adept at developing safety plans for any location working closely with field management to maintain safety and staying up to date on all safety requirements. Specializes in Oil & Gas and commercial /industrial construction projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co-ordination and provision of safety training and safety induction to all staff specially for confined space entry and for hole watchers and fire watchers.
• Cleaning and maintenance inspection of vessel and tanks and flares.
• Inspection / Servicing of columns, Fin fan coolers, Exchangers, Handling of generated waste from Equipment’s, Insulation & Cladding, Chemical Cleaning, Flare Tip Inspection & Replacement, Construction of Gas Plant and Road Civil Work and Pipe line etc.
• Performing risk assessments of each area of plant activity and making recommendation on actions to be taken to reduce risks.
• Gas Testing as an authorized tester
• Informing all members of the establishment of the status, requirements and codes of practice for safe-working, of procedures already adopted and of the provision and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and to ensure their observance and proper use; to arrange for the reporting and investigation of incidents with a view to further preventive measures or the dissemination of information to others.
• Creating awareness of the hazards associated with the use of radioactive materials,H2s presence, carcinogens (cancer inducers), toxic chemicals and other aspects of occupational health hazards typically present inside the refinery and dissemination of this information.
