Worked on various projects As a QA/QC Representative. Those projects included Some multi-billion initiatives like New Orbital Highway (NOH) and Qatar Rail.
The summary of Duties included :

i. Implementing Quality Management System and Quality Control Plan in all activities.

ii. Reviewing Project specifications, Procedures, Method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and Conducting inspections as per approved documents.

iii. Raising Request for Inspections (RFIs) and Material Inspection requests (MIRs) and ensuring proper delivery, handling and storage of material on site.

iv. Reviewing Material’s test certificates and ensuring their compliance with project specifications, Qatar Construction Standards.

v. Attending all kind of site meetings with Project Manager.

vi. Registering and performing required corrective actions for any raised NCRs for their closure and implementing a preventive action plan to control the re-occurrence of non-conformances.

vii. Preparing Internal NCRs and ensuring proper action to their closure.

vii. Attending Audit meetings, quality visits to factories and plants.

viii. Attending Follow up external and internal Surveillance.

ix. Preparing and assisting in all kind of Quality reports.

x. Coordinating with Suppliers /dealers for samples, technical submittals and helping in getting test results of materials as per project specifications.

xi. Managing each and every process ranging from initial coordination to final execution.


xii. Negotiating with the sub-contractors for pricing, delivery time, payment terms and other contractual requirements.

xiii. Comparison and analysis of quotations from suppliers for the procurement and supply of materials at the site.

xiv. Verification of BOQ quantities before placing the order for the supply of materials at the site.

xv. Joint checking of the monthly invoice with a client and joint measurement and certification of subcontractor\'\'\'\'\'\'\'\'s monthly

Responsibilities/Accomplishments:
a. Performed investigation at sites and assisted site and planning engineer in project execution.
b. Main Technical advisor on site for Subcontractors, Site Supervisors, and Operatives.
c. Maintaining daily and monthly progress reports.
d. Compiling the daily report of Foremen for future reference & evaluation.
e. Coordinating with other departments on the various stages of the production cycle.
