I am working as an ACCA trainee program in SSGC in Finance department. My core responsibilities include in various sections of finance department are the following: • Reviewing and matching of invoice rates with OGRA price notifications for the period and verifying the volumes through corroborative evidences confirmed by Measurement Department.
• Recording invoices of domestic, commercial and industrial customers in Oracle EBS.
• Ensure all posted invoices are processed further by payment processing team.
• Processing quotations, debit & credit notes.
• Processing projects advances in Oracle & MR verification.
• Closure of Projects in CCNB.
• Running various reports in Oracle for daily, monthly and quarterly reporting such as customer age analysis, customer unsettled transactions, project expenditure and control reports, auditing & making bills(payments) of the vendors (P&C, IT, SECURITY, ADMIN, HR, SERVICES, DISTRIBUTION etc.) & collecting the evidences required for the particular bill as contract period & its expiry, extension, sales tax invoices, return filled, income tax, stamp duty, PBG, retention money, tax payer or not, individual or company and do calculations, comparing actual quantity with BOQ, work done in time as per contract or not.
• Reviewing the contract and the tender information. Completing the bill and approved for payment to the cash & bank section. Work with payroll, insurance & accounts departments on projects basis and gained experience on specific roles.
