Semantic Web-Based Chess Tutor

Chess is an ancient and tricky game. It is a game of strategy and tactics. Learning Chess strategies is a tough task for a new user and to memorize chess moves for a chess player is so difficult. This application will help the user to memorize chess moves easily by giving different chess board positions to the user. This application will also suggest moves to the user so the user can learn won games of grandmasters. This provides the brief description of the project and overview that what the project is about.It also includes the benefits that the application will provide to the users. This application work on the semantic web that is is an extension of the Web through standards by the World Wide Web Consortium The semantic web provides a common framework that allows data to be shared and reused across application, enterprise, and community boundaries. Semantic web technologies enable people to create data stores on the Web, build vocabularies, and write rules for handling data. Linked data are empowered by technologies such as resource description framework (RDF), SPARQL protocol and RDF query language (SPARQL) and ontology web language (OWL). The RDF has features that facilitate data merging even if the underlying schemas differ, and it specifically supports the evolution of schemas over time without requiring all the data consumers to be changed. RDF extends the linking structure of the Web to use URIs to name the relationship between things as well as the two ends of the link (this is usually referred to as a “triple”).
