The Divisional Coordination Officer is responsible for facilitating liaison and coordination between various entities including District Administration, Government departments (Livestock, Agriculture, Fisheries, Education, Population Welfare, Social Protection, Local Government, and Health), as well as NGOs and INGOs operating under the AAP Taskforce for malnutrition reduction. Key duties include monitoring activities across all departments and organizations, organizing monthly District Coordination Committee meetings on nutrition, documenting meeting minutes, and distributing them to relevant members. Effective communication and coordination efforts are essential to achieve malnutrition reduction goals. The role also involves reporting to Secretaries, Department Heads, and NGO Heads at the district and divisional levels.

The project, supported by Maltesar International and the International Cooperation Agency (BMZ), focused on restoring and rehabilitating livelihood resources for flood-affected communities across eight union councils in Thari Mirwah: Baki Khan, Deparja, Mohsin Shah, Hindiyari, Mehar Veesar, Pir Bhudhro, Sabar Rind, and Kharirah. Key achievements include the rehabilitation of 8 kilometers of the minor channel Bilawal Wah, the refurbishment of animal shelters, and the establishment of kitchen gardening initiatives. Additionally, approximately 600 local organization leaders received training in Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM). The District Project Officer (DPO) played a crucial role in ensuring activity quality, team management, technical assistance, liaison with government and community stakeholders for effective implementation, as well as planning, team management, and donor reporting.



 
 
 

 








 

As District Project Manager, I led a team of 430 workers, predominantly 99% female, including 400 community health workers. Responsibilities included overseeing the effective implementation of all CMAM program activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines, identifying and addressing technical gaps through internal training, and developing training modules aligned with national CMAM guidelines. Additionally, I organized refresher training based on capacity assessments, provided tailored coaching guidance, and facilitated meetings to enhance service delivery. Coordination with Logistics and Administration departments ensured seamless operations of health facilities. Duties also involved monitoring and documenting referred cases, conducting health checkups per IMCI protocols, ensuring appropriate child referrals within CMAM components, and educating mothers/caretakers on child health and treatment importance. Liaising with District Administration, Health departments, and stakeholders was integral, as was timely and quality reporting to management and donors.

Prepare and submit timely Supply Request for OTP/SFP Services (Plumpy nuts, Micronutrient Sachets/ Tablets, Medications and other relevant items) to the store keeper.
