Responsibilities
• Preparation of working/statements for income tax
• Preparation of working/ for sales tax filings of all provinces
• Ensuring timely payment of tax to regulatory authorities
• Assist in data archiving and compilation of reports for tax audit purposes
• Liaise with Tax office, tax consultants and lawyers
• Recording of all tax related entries in SAP
• Reconcile Sales Tax returns with financial records
• Handle communication with vendors on tax related matters and Issuance of WHT certificates
• Handle communication with customers on tax related matters
• Preparing quarterly advance tax working
• Preparing data for compliance of various income tax notice
• Preparing data for compliance of various sales tax notice
• Preparing data for sales tax and income tax audits
• Preparing data for obtaining exemption certificate
• Prepare and maintain refund history of the company
• Invoices processing with accurate taxes
• Ensure accurate Income Tax and Sales Tax withholding from payments
• To Facilitate internal & external customers in end to end process
• Implement changes in Taxation Law both i.e sales tax income tax
• Involve in monthly Closing processes
Tax Associate
As a part of tax department, actively participated in preparation and submission of Sales Tax returns, gained exposure in Income Tax return filing, making compliance to various Income Tax and Sales Tax notices notices and also worked on preparation of tax history for clients.
