Prepare pricing sheet and BOQs and submitting final tender bids. Review all tender documents and prepare a brief summary including the scope of works, project duration, commercial terms etc. Verify receipt of all tender documents as per the transmittal received. Raise queries for missing documents or inadequate information. Take-off quantities from the provided drawings and specifications and verify/update against the Bill of Quantities. Prepare Bill of Quantities if not provided by the Client. Prepare and send inquiries for sub-contractors. Carry out site visit to further understand project requirements. Compare quotations received from sub-contractors and ensure conformity with specifications. Prepare breakdown of rates for items inclusive of material, labour and wastage. Incorporate estimated rates in the Bill of Quantities and submit for review to the Senior Estimator. Prepare trade wise breakdown of rates for the project. Prepare and submit final technical and commercial bid in co-ordination with other members of the team. Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings. Attend mid and post tender meetings with client. Prepare complete file (including soft copy backups) for the project. Preparing a handover schedule (which includes a description of scope, methodologies, assumption, exclusion, reference and risk) and all tender backups (drawings, specifications etc.) Submitting materials submittals, method statements and safety requirements.
