I hold a Ph.D. in Economics and possess extensive experience across diverse economic sectors. My contributions to urban economics, geoeconomics, economic security, and urban & regional development are substantial.
+ Currently, I serve as the Director of Economic Affairs at the Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS) in Lahore, Pakistan. In this role, I lead a team that conducts research and analysis on critical economic issues in Pakistan. I oversee the writing of opinion articles on economic topics and mentor researchers, playing a key role in capacity building and maintaining research quality.
+ Before joining CASS, I worked as an Urban Economist at The Urban Unit, Lahore. There serving as the Team Lead (Social & Urban Economics), I led a team of economists and researchers working on the Punjab Spatial Strategy (PSS), economic and regional development, and master planning projects. I collaborated closely with the World Bank's Jobs & Competitiveness Program, contributing to essential research in micro- and macroeconomics, urban economics, and demography.
+ Throughout my academic journey, I achieved remarkable milestones, including earning a Ph.D. in Economics from Government College University Lahore. I was also honored as the Gold Medalist in MA Economics at the Islamia University, Bahawalpur.
