Ayesha Mehmood was born in 1993. She had done her matriculation in science and then passed college with ICS. Art was never her subject but there was some hidden talent that needs to be figured out. From early childhood she had a creative mind she always wanted to explore the world and share some new ideas and Bachelors in Computer Arts gave her the platform.
She was taught how to paint canvases, how to make sketches, how to use different softwares like AutoCAD, Photoshop, and CorelDraw etc. She liked a thick paint stroke that’s why she applies this technique in her paintings, influenced by impressionist painters too. Whenever, she started doing work on a project the first thing which comes in her mind is research of related things. She used to research about the related things, see tutorials if she ever needed help. After that she started working on sketch book she make a rough sketch and then she moved on to the other medium ( canvas, laptop etc.)
She participated in an exhibition at Pakistan Art Gallery, Rawalpindi exhibiting her work on Iqbaliyat.
She had many expectations with her work and she is still trying to fulfill all her expectations and dreams. Whenever she looked at her work and views of people about it her hopes got stronger and in near future she could see herself to be a successful Graphic Designer. She want to serve in her field with full sincerity, enthusiasm, passion, zeal and devotion so she can make my name in this field.
As an internee in Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI) under the supervision of Dr. Javed Ahmed of Wheat Department, the first task assigned to us was to submit the detail list of areas we can work on, the courses we had studied so far, the projects and task we had completed in our university and the main areas we had specialized in. Besides that we had to submit our portfolio so that accordingly the organization can assign tasks to the internees. Majority of their internees were from the agricultural field studying BS (Hons). Tasks were assigned according to the field of the student.
Daily a small briefing was given in which the tasks were assigned and the progress of the previous work was checked. The work with its specific requirements and demand was described and keeping those instructions in mind we had to complete the task. The choice and the layout composition were designed according to the demand of the organization. Minute details had to be kept in mind while designing or completing any task.
For statistical and data based projects proper presentations having material and accurate percentages and amounts were given and according to the demand we had to create its visual charts and tables. For specific campaigns like “Food for All” area, production, yield produced annually and other data was provided.
