● Lead the EHS department to ensure full compliance with industry standards, including customer-specific requirements.
● Ensure all operations meet the audit criteria for major international customers like Primark, American Eagle, JC Penny and SanMar.
● Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in line with legal and regulatory obligations.
● Conduct internal audits and inspections to proactively identify hazards and ensure the company's adherence to health and safety regulations.
● Monitor and drive continuous improvement in environmental sustainability and waste reduction programs.
● Developing and implementing chemical safety management programs.
● Overseeing waste management protocols to ensure safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, aligning with environmental regulations.
● Managing Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations to ensure efficient wastewater treatment and compliance with discharge standards.
● Monitoring reverse recycling processes to minimize waste and maximize resource recovery.
● Monitoring and assessing third-party contractors.
● Performing root cause analysis for incidents and leading CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) initiatives.
● Delivering safety-related training and emergency drills to staff for continuous improvement of workplace safety culture.
● Coordinate with external auditors to ensure seamless audits and certifications for customer compliance (ISO) 9001-2015, FAIRTRADE, FAIR LABOR SOCIATION, WRAP,
BSCI, Better Work, Higg Index.

Technical Support and development to Health, Safety and Environmental Management System ISO-45001, ISO-22000 and ISO-14001.
Reviewing HSE SOP’s and making necessary amendments.
Reviewing and implementing HSE emergency plans regarding Chlorine and Ammonia emission.
Executing emergency mock drill regarding gaseous emission, fire prevention and emergency evacuation.
Attending the 2nd and 3rd party audits of Unilever, SEDEX, SGS, EPA, RB, Coke and Meezan.
Responsible for detecting potential hazards and to take control measures for workers and property.
Responsible for incident investigation and determining the root cause.
Visiting the new customer facilities for the recommendation against the compliance regarding chlorine emergency handling.
Visiting and auditing the customer’s site regarding handling, storage and emergency preparedness of bleaching powder and liquid chlorine.
Conducting emergency handling training sessions at customer site.
Delivering front line safety related education and training to various members of staff.
Monitoring and assessing the work of third party contractors hired by company.
Preparing the annual HSE budget.
Preparing HSE related MBO’s.
Planning and participating in HSE culture improving activities.
