Compiled a database of public sector enterprises (PSEs) including ownership network diagram, wrote a booklet viz. Federal Footprint Snapshot of Public Sector Enterprises and Other Investments.
Contributed to Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules 2013 that have been developed by a task force led by our unit. These rules have been approved by the Federal Government and would be instrumental in strengthening governance in Public Sector Companies through the strategic controls engraved in it.
Submitted a policy paper on Public Sector Enterprises and Privatization that was approved by the Prime Minister.
Contributed to settlement of circular debt amounting to approximately USD 5 billion (Rs. 503 billion).
Facilitated in post-program monitoring(s) and in negotiations with IMF for USD 6.6 billion bailout package.
Reviewed and provided feedback on various business plans of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM), Pakistan Railways (PR) and of Pakistan Machine Tools Factory. Also devised scorecard for monitoring performance of PIA against bailout package amounting to Rs. 92.4 billion and carried out performance monitoring of PSM against the agreed business plan backed up with Rs. 14.6 billion bailout package for Cabinet Committee on Restructuring chaired by the Finance Minister.
Recruited as Fiscal Analyst (Financial Specialist) in the Ministry of Finance out of 5000 candidates.
Acted as financial expert on various banking consultancy assignments with KPMG and Deloitte.
Writing and Negotiation Skills short online Deloitte subscribed courses from Harvard University.
Exceeded expectations of Executive Directors (i.e. my Bosses) at Deloitte Pakistan.
