District Health Communication & Support Officer

Monitoring Consultant Home Base Newborn Care (HBNC)
1) Develop a monitoring framework for home based new born care in consultation with UNICEF team and conduct monthly monitoring visits within the district Bahawalnagar, Layyah, Pakpattan, Dg Khan, Rajan Pur and Lodhran at health facility and community level. 2) Provided Support Planning and implementation of Home based new born care training package for Provincial TOT and step down district trainings and trickle down at facility level. 3) Coordinate the activities planned for baseline and end line survey of “Home based new born care “initiative in Bahawalnagar district with the research team from PERI. 4) Support the district IRMNCH&N Programme team for strengthening of the village health committees of Lady health workers to reach out for awareness on new born care to the families in their community 5) Coordinate and support IRMNCH&N district team to conduct training of LHS and LHWs on use of portable projector for awareness sessions of the community by each LHW in the district and submit a monthly report on number of women reached in each session. 6) Develop a monthly reporting format in consultation with UNICEF team gather & consolidate data, analyze, and generate reports on monthly basis of KMC, SCNU, HBNC sessions. Prepare presentations on the basis of data analysis and submit monthly report to the district IRMNCH coordinator and UNICEF. 7) Support UNICEF team to conduct 2 provincial and 3 district review meetings to monitor progress and share gaps in implementation of home based new born care initiative. 8) Submit comprehensive end of the project report, including a human interest story/case study. 9) Provided support in campaign of Polio, EPI, Special measles campaign planning and monitoring
