•Lead HSE team for planning, coordination and implementation of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
•Coach, collaborate and support HSE team execution of HSE strategy and projects.
• Lead and implement the Risk Assessment program cross functionally at plant sites, Identify , assess and prioritize OHS risks using 5X5 risk matrix, Define control measures to reduce the risk below acceptable level.
• Report and investigate incidents/accidents as per plant SOPs and evaluate root cause through 5 Why technique, Follow up of all corrective and preventive actions of HSE Non-conformances through HSE non-conformance software system.
•Lead Overall strategy of occupational health and wellbeing framework. Ensure implementation of all Covid-19 precautions.
• Lead, develop and implement permit to work system at all plant sites, Define roles/responsibilities of authorized issuer/receiver and handing/taking over procedures, Review permit to work system periodically and maintain record.
• Lead and conduct safety management inspections and audits to ensure process safety management is effective, Evaluate and ensure that procedure and practices are adequate, Record and report the findings of audit.
• Conduct final and surveillance audits of all plants, participate in kick off and final audit meetings with Head Plant, Take corrective and preventive actions on findings in audit reports cross functionally.
• Establish and implement procedures managing change to process chemicals, technology and equipment to ensure health safety and environment risks are managed.
• Conduct pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR) of all newly installed or modified equipment, Lead and participate with technical team during cold run of equipment’s especially after shutdowns.
• Identify all types of emergencies at plant, Develop and implement emergency response plan, Periodic inspection of emergency alarms and equipment, Conduct emergency drills as per emergency drills plan.

Integrated Management System
Accountable for:
·      Communicating dnata HSE policies, standards, procedures, and practices to dnata staff and key stakeholders.
·      Demonstrating compliance to regulatory, industry, and alignment to best practices.
·      Ensuring HSE training is embedded into training matrices and meets requirements.
·      Ensuring HSE governance accountabilities relevant to the business size and risk profile are in place.
·      Monitoring of HSE KPIs through the development of monthly performance reports for each site and presentations to Management teams, CEO, and HSE Board.
·      Establishing KPI’s for multi-site relevant to business and corporate KPI’s
·      Maintaining appropriate records and documents and assures accessibility to stakeholders.
·      Establish assurance capabilities to identify contractor and supplier HSE capabilities.
·      Monitoring performance and compliance to HSE & training standards and escalating concerns to Senior Management.
·      Timeliness, completeness, and integrity of performance reporting including leading and lagging indicators, trends, mitigation plans, CAPA closeout, and any other areas of concern to senior management and corporate. 
Health
Responsible for the establishment and oversight of Occupational Health for the business including:
·      Implementation of the dnata global health processes including health standards, health monitoring and reporting as well as occupational health & hygiene risk mitigation.
·      Establish a health risk profile and programmers.
Safety
Responsible for oversight, administration, and implementation of safety management systems including reporting and compliance obligations of the business including:
·      Identification of hazards, effective mitigation, monitoring, and administration including.
o  Implement the dnata STOP observation program.
o  Implement workplace inspections to ensure we are providing a “Safe Place” for our employees.
·      Implementing the dnata Hub as the single source of truth.
·      Implementing dnata incident investigation processes including reporting, Investigations, and fit for purpose CAPA’s.
·      Establishing incident management capability within the safety & Operations teams.
·      Establish a safety training matrix.
·      Establishing an HSE Governance Framework including HSE Board and supporting committee’s process incorporating trends, actions, and initiatives for improvement.
Environment
Responsible for oversight of the environmental management program for the business including:
·      Implementation of the dnata environment monitoring program based on identified environmental impacts, aspects, and risks to the business.
·      Implementation of proactive measures to reduce the environmental impact because of our operations such as waste reduction, emissions, re-use, recycle etc.

 Identifying the training for newly arrived employees and observes all safety rules and regulations and take necessary action to complete compliance\'s and the Safety Policies for training.
 Responsible for firefighting and health and safety awareness training given to new appointed employees.
 Providing advice and guidance on health and safety standards.
 Advising management and active monitoring for accident prevention.
 Overseeing the development of adequate risk assessment.
 To prepare quarterly evacuation fire/emergency plan and conduct drills accordingly maintain record of it.
 Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance and perform regular HSE audits of the site.
 Establish and monitor plans for detecting and correcting hazardous conditions.
 To look after the firefighting appliances, Fire alarms, emergency light, safety sign, floor marking and about careful handling of chemical and use of PPE,s in department.
 To attend all fire incident and assist the fire fighters of the departments in firefighting.
 To prepare the fire incident and HSE accident and near miss reports well in time and maintain records of it.
 Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
 Disseminate information on safety to all departments/disciplines to alert them on specific hazards and to promote safety awareness
 To prepare and submit monthly HSE accidents/near miss report and wellness report before the each month.
 To implement the hot & cold work system to prevent the accidents & insure the safe working environment.
 To insure that the work being done is carried out by using proper personal protective equipment’s (PPE) by the employees
 To inspect /ensure the safe work conditions in the confined and open places

  Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Officer and Health and Safety Manager.
 Assist the Health and Safety Officer and Health and Safety Manager with Health and Safety monitoring activities.
 Assist the Health and Safety Officer and Manager with the management of fire safety throughout the buildings.
 Assist in Health and Safety audits and produce audit reports and follow up any actions.
 Liaise closely with the Facilities Management team to manage issues relating to the facilities service provision, and specifically waste disposal, buildings, fire safety equipment, electrical testing and safety audit non-compliances.
 Assist the Health and Safety Officer to maintain and coordinate the online training software.
 Assist in the identification of need and preparation of risk assessments, compliance and training of staff, with particular reference to machine risk assessments, manual handling, working at height, and display screen equipment.
 Review and record checks on all fire exits, fire and fire equipment, and fire signs.
 Review relevant safety signage within Hazardous areas.
 Review and record the First Aid and spill kit provision across local Hazardous sites.
