Under the overall supervision of Chief of Mission, and in accordance with directives received from the Head of Emergency and Stabilization Department, Emergency Officer and the Humanitarian Communications Program Manager, the DRC Coordinator work closely with District Review committee (DRC) and provide support to District govt for the grievance redressal of the Citizen Damage Compensation program
Provided below are the key responsibilities of DRC Assistant:
Assist the DRC by entering all the data pertaining to Appeals into the NADRA database on a regular basis
Assist the DRC in ensuring compliance to SOPs for proper documentation of each appeal lodged and uphold transparency and accountability as outlined in the CDCP Operational Manual
Facilitate DRC members to receipt and maintenance of manual record of grievances appeals
Assist DRC in sorting of appeals into various categories as outlined in the Case Management Guidelines
Assist in grievance redressal process and refinement of the operating procedures for the DRCs
Coordinate with the Grievance Redressal Field Monitors on regular basis
Draft meeting minutes of DRC meeting on weekly/ Biweekly basis
Assist DRC in effective reporting of status of appeals to program stakeholders
Assist any documentation related logistics or payments to DRC members
Facilitate DRC towards working in close coordination with the provincial PDMA through Greivance Redressal Coordinators
Any other task assigned by DRC or supervisor in line with provisions of the Operational Manual, Case Management Guidelines and DRC SOPs.
To scrutinize proposals sent by the NGOs to secure the funds from the Regional Directorates, Anti Narcotics Force for drug demand reduction activities.
To arrange, plan and coordinate Drug Demand Reduction Activities in KPK and FATA in close liaison with NGOs, CBOs and Govt. Departments.
Project planning, management, coordination and Implementation in KPK and FATA
Monitoring and Evaluation of Project activities
Conducting different types of events like Seminars, Workshops, sports events, debate and declamation contests etc
Creating and preparing both Informational and Promotional Materials regarding drug abuse
Carrying out public awareness campaign through media both press and electronic regarding drug abuse and its disastrous effects on individual, family and soceity
To keep record of the funds provided by Regional Directorate to the NGOs and Drug Demand Reduction Activities carried out by NGOs and Regional Directorates.
To arrange training for NGOs and other DDR professional and arrange counseling sessions for drug addicts patients
Conduct different types of survey related to drug abuse as directed HQ ANF
Preparation of Post event reports, monthly and quarterly activities reports
Maintain list of NGOs, Professionals working in the field of DDR.
To assist Drug Demand Reduction Section of Regional Directorates.
Financial, administrative and office work
Any other duty assigned by Force Commander, Regional Directorate Anti Narcotics Force.
To provide assistance and guidance to the field staff for implementing projects activities.
Coordinating all activities of projects both in KPK and Baluchistan
To strengthen capacity building of field staff through workshops, training etc and through on - site technical support.
To carryout regular monitoring visits of project districts and to provide on – site technical support.
To ensure timely submission of monthly and quarterly reports.
Close liaison with Education and Health Department of KPK.
Interviewing clients i.e. DU, IDU, and Juveniles for assessment
