Identify needs at the local level and develop priority-based activities.
Supervise the overall program resources and implementation of activities.
Work closely with program partners for implementation of planned activities.
Prepare valley development plans and develop indicators in line with the local needs and available resources.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the stakeholders (all relevant Institutions, AKDN Agencies, Civil Society Organizations, government line departments and NGOs etc).
Liaise with the SEDP Regional Program Manager-Chitral and update him on the program progress on regular basis.
Take lead role in conflict resolution and come up with viable solutions in response to issues arising at the valley level while implementing program activities.
Carry out staff development, ensure teamwork and create a conducive environment for the smooth implementation of the program activities.
Ensure strict adherence to the policies and procedures related to the program.
Work closely with the Manager Monitoring & Evaluation and Management Information System (M&E and MIS) for planning, monitoring and regular flow of information from the field.
Submit monthly, bi-annual and annual reports in timely manner.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Mobilize the target community and prepare grounds for the program interventions.
Support management in identifying poverty-targeted households and program beneficiaries.
Liaise and establish a strong working relationship with partner organizations and program stakeholders including Imamat Intuitions, AKDN Agencies, and other GOs/NGOs in the valley.
Undertake and/or assist poverty-related research activities, data collection, compilation, and reporting.
Develop and maintain the necessary documentation and record of all program activities in the valley. Play an active role in conflict resolution about program interventions
• Set up and manage the project office at field level in accordance with the project work plan.
• Implement the project activities in with respective area of responsibility as per the work plan and budget.
• Effectively coordinate implementation of the project activities, including monitoring and quality assessment of activities at field level as per work plans.
• Manage the realization of project outputs through activities at local level.
• Ensure that the implementation of work plan is consistent with the envisaged outputs and objectives of the project document.
• Maintain close coordination with District Health Deferment and District line agencies and local bodies in planning, monitoring (joint), and sharing (reports) on the project implementation issues through active information channels in order to avoid duplication and maximize synergies and complementarities.
• Ensure a coordinated and collaborative approach is undertaken among project partners at field-level /in implementing project interventions and achieving desired outcomes.
• Update and report the Project Coordinator on a regular basis about the progress and constraints and try to resolve implementation problems..
• Maintain close coordination/linkages with targeted District line agencies, local bodies, I/NGOs and projects within the project area and keep them fully informed of the project activities.
• Prepare weekly work plan, quarterly progress report.
• Provide additional support to Project Management Unit as required.
