Responsibilities:

1)Communication;
Clear, consistent, effective & professional communication with suppliers, vendors, contractors, freight forwarders, internal departments via phone, mails, conference calls or face to face to negotiate, or to proactively engage all stakeholders in identifying potential issues, resolutions and opportunities.
2) Planning and Analysis;
Develop and maintain various supply chain plans and strategies.
Coordinate and oversee manufacturing operations in order to forecast orders and meet customer demands.
Conduct monthly capacity and consumptions analyses to ensure that forecasts and schedules are aligned and integrated.
3) Inventory Control;
Generate daily, weekly, monthly reports to provide stakeholders with actionable data and insights regarding current stock levels by category and location.
Reduce product obsolescence through inventory reviews / stock ageing
Maintain effective use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Achievements:

1) Alternate source development;
Explored & developed new & alternate suppliers/sources for monopolistic and other various products which assisted in reducing costs and lead times.
2) Alternate products development;
Explored & developed alternate products of existing SKU’s which are very expensive and difficult to find their replacement.
3) Negotiations & Savings;
Saved millions through above two practices and through effective negotiations skills.
4) Supply Chain Portal & other Reports;
Developed a portal for top management where all the functions, reports, trends, practices are available on a single click in a very fashioned manner.
