To supervise all shift operations at Engro polymer chemicals
• Receiving & Unloading of all direct charge items and stocked material.
• Both imported and local on day to day basis in following manners.
• Physical verification of received item for item description and type and quantity with supplier delivery Challan or shipping invoice or packing list. Marking and noting down of any discrepancy communication of such issues to purchase section.
• Data base entry of received goods in Maximo to generate arrival notices & Inspection Memos.
• Sending Inspection Memo and Arrival Notice through e-mail to concerned personnel for inspection.
• Update the ‘Pending for inspection ‘sheet for newly received items for inspection follow up.
• Attend callout in off hours and week end, Provide shift coverage in cause of emergency on Plant.
• Complete Physical Inventory Audit Training.
Inspection, Rejection & Approval of material:
• Made available all the material for inspection, relevant LPRs and POs for final consultation of inspection personnel.
• Coordinate for inspection activity.
• To follow up with different department for inspection of material mailed on daily basis.
• Segregation of approved and rejected items if any.
• Noting down of rejections & Preparation of rejection memorandums i.e. “Rejection returned to Vendor “.
• Sending rejection information through e-mail to purchase section for their follow up and replenishment of stock.
• Coordinate the uplifting of rejected material with purchasing.
Coding & Binning of material:
• Target is one day after inspection and generation of RMRs
• Ensure marking of PO number and Maximo code number on received item for easy and accurate tracking in case of any discrepancy of wrong receipt or material deficiency.
• Ensure binning of material at right shelf and counter check of material size and other specs by comparing the newly received material with old stock and report any discrepancy ( if any )
