Representing the organization at relevant forums and providing feedback/advice to program management and technical teams is also one of the core functions of the job.
Restoring Family Links operates through a network of 192 movement partners across the globe, the program provides protection and RFL services to migrants, victims of human trafficking, unaccompanied and separated children, foreign detainees, refugees, asylum seekers, and IDPs. Furthermore, during disasters, emergencies, and in other situations of humanitarian needs, it also extends protection and RFL services to disaster and emergency-affected people. In Pakistan, I managed the program on behalf of the Pakistan Red Crescent as National Program Manager. I was responsible for executing the program as per global strategy, preparing and executing annual plans and budgets, liaison and coordination with relevant government agencies (MoI, MoFA, provincial home departments), private actors, analyzing new developments in the country & region, monitoring, coaching of staff and volunteers.
Managed the community development component of the project in district Faislalabad. The major responsibilities were to mobilize and organize communities, capacity building of communities, education department, liaison with stakeholders and financial management and planning at district level.
Developed training modules & manuals on WASH and Pakistan approach to total sanitation for 11 cadres and then implemented the overall training portfolio, including planning, designing, organizing, preparing and delivery of training events at provincial level. Different cadres included Lady Health Workers (LHWs), elected local government representatives, district coordination committees, government officials of Public health, Local Government and NGOs.
I was responsible to Implement mobilization & training activities as per the defined logical framework matrix. Additionally, liaison with government departments, coordination with implementing partner, stakeholder engagement and facilitation of training from the community level to government officials were some other important areas of my job. Moreover, I also worked directly with communities at the grass-root level and developed the social mobilization strategy for the project.
Served as a senior program officer, major responsibilities were to act as business development officer by finding new opportunities for funding and developing proposals. In addition, management of the portfolio of 12 projects across the country, organizing workshops, advocacy campaigns, liaison with stakeholders such as academic institutions, government functionaries, other NGOs and with the community were also some important functions of the job.
The position was responsible for managing the project in the province of KPK. It was the senior level position and its core responsibilities were to manage the three offices, a staff of 20 professionals, management and implementation of the project activities in the province and monitoring of the ongoing activities as well as the evaluation of previous year's interventions of the project. Besides mentioned duties, I was responsible for developing networking and liaison with the judiciary, police officials, lawyers association, educational institutions, hospitals and other NGOs. Arrangement of consultations with the judiciary and police training was also one of the major aspects of the job. As a manager I was also assigned to take part in preparation of budgets, procurement and logistics.

Worked directly with refugees of different countries, major responsibilities included assessment of refugees for registration and referring them for relevant services, conducting home visits to verify the claims of refugees for their cases of resettlement and subsistence allowance and managing skill development component.
During the preparatory phase of general election of 2008 in Pakistan, i worked on this short-term project named as “support to the national election in Pakistan”. My major responsibilities were to monitor the process of pre-election arrangements, especially training of master trainers, training of presiding officers and returning officers. To monitor the work of other civil society organizations in different districts who were working on voter’s education and report writing of monitoring activities were also the essential parts of the job.
Served as social organizer with additional duties of team leader in the field office of the union council (UC) Mera Kalan in district Muzaffarabad. The organization was implementing the integrated program for rehabilitation of the earthquake affected population of the UC. My job description was to Plan and manage program activities (including Education, Shelter, health and livelihood). Furthermore, Responsibility of community mobilization and organization, formation of SMCs (School Management Committees), Mohra organizations (MOs) Village reconstruction committees (VRCs), Health Committees and water management committees was also the important function of the job. Capacity building of the target communities through training and informal session and report writing of monthly activities were also the part of the work.
