Developed content & budget for the Humanitarian Projects with CERF, USAID, also updated the programme activities related information and constructively contributed in the preparation of status and progress reports.
Rendered keen eye for details to prepare Agreements for the Implementing Partners [IPs], documents for the budget and activities revision in work plan; as well as produce periodic and ad hoc programme status reports.
Conducted field monitoring visits to provincial offices; monitored progress of programme Work Plans (WPs) to ensure optimum quality of work; also compiled financial and narrative report for donors and internal use.
Coordination:
Led the GBV Sub Cluster active for the Complex Emergency, reviewed the GBV proposal submitted by the Cluster member organization, also organized monthly meetings of Sub Cluster.
Member of the core team for reviewing the proposal submitted by other Clusters for Gender Marker, collected the data from cluster members on the 4W matrix and report back to UNOCHA.
A key member of information management working group in Pakistan under the leadership of UNOCHA; and maintained the database of IPs and strategic partners working in GBV response for the IDPs and early recovery.Â
Operations:
Processed Funding Authorization and Certificate of Expenditures (FACE) for humanitarian projects implementing partners; monitored core and non-core programme resources allocated to humanitarian projects.
Used corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Atlas for monitor programme and Work Plan (WP) budgets and expenditures; Constant follow up with implementation partners for the timely submission of FACE.
Delivered full analytical support to Humanitarian Team travelling and event management; updated and maintained complete track of humanitarian commodities movement and stock updates in both hard and soft forms/archives.
IRC was part of Consortium for the Livelihood programme of the communities of Complex Emergency, my role was to manage the scholarship component for students.
Programme/Project Management:
Leveraged keen insight to prepare the Gantt chart for the project activities for six months; Memorandum of Understanding [MOUs] for Universities and other Government Departments.
Key member of a review committee for proposal evaluation; reviewed project partners reports and shared the comments with IP for further clarifications; also developed database of scholarship holder students.
Prepared monthly report and shared with Programme Director; arranged training and community meeting; compiled students’ progress reports; end of project 380 students was graduate from Universities.
Monitoring & Coordination:
Monitored the already graduated students’ activities in their respective geographic location; financial status of the project funding; and attended the consortium meetings and provide updates made in the project.
Built collaborative rapport with FATA education department for NOCs and registering students; and attended the coordination meetings of Non-Government Organizations [NGOs] working is same geographic location.
Conducted spot checks of students to ensure attendance, as well as liaised with Political Agents [Government Representative in FATA Agency] to provide monthly updates to the Govt. department about the project activities.
Organized detailed monthly visits to Universities for monitoring the students’ progress and keep them motivated.
